Maison

Mazille

Together with my husband we took on a once in a lifetime dream project: renovating and starting a B&B in Burgundy. We built, designed and decorated the B&B ' Maison Mazille' and marketed it to be the go to B&B in Burgundy.

Our adventure in burgundy

Chambres d'hôtes Maison Mazille is located near the ancient abbey town of Cluny, in one of the most beautiful places in the southern part of Burgundy called the Mâconnais. It is a beautiful rural location with picturesque views over the garden and green meadows where horses graze. The original, attractive accommodation consists of an old stable block which was used for agricultural machinery from the 1870s now carefully and completely renovated to a luxurious standard.

In the spacious garden, you can find our saltwater swimming pool.

Brocante design near the route du Soleil

We designed the old farmhouse to be as authentic as possible by reusing and sourcing Brocante items at the many markets in the area. By mixing the old with new comfort we have created a comfortable and luxurious place where you can stop by on your way to the Provence, or stay for a few days to discover Burgundy and it's beautiful landscape, wines, and food.
